InfoWeapons Implements New Management Interface

New York, NY – 24 August 2011 – InfoWeapons, Inc. announces the release of SolidDNS® 5.1.430, which features a new management interface and several updates to key components designed to achieve optimal performance and security.

This version of SolidDNS® adds a restricted UNIX shell interface preferred by many administrators when performing advanced troubleshooting and network diagnostics. This new command line interface utilizes a secure shell that employs familiar UNIX tools such as tcpdump, dig, and nslookup, among others.

IPv6 Experts Call for Swifter Move to IPv6 to Sustain Internet Growth and Innovation

Luxembourg, February 4, 2011 – The IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority has allocated the last IP address blocks from the global IPv4 central address pool, ending all debates over when this would happen. Several months remain before Regional Registries consume all their remaining regional IPv4 address pools, with recent trends suggesting that Asia, Europe, and North America will exhaust in that order within a month or two on either side of July 1, 2011.
