GUELPH, ON, Canada – February 11, 2011 – Netsweeper Inc. today announced that it has acquired the technology and business assets of DeepNines, a privately-held company based in Dallas, TX. Netsweeper is also bringing on key DeepNines personnel. DeepNines products include Secure Web Gateway, Internet Security Assessment, Network Application Management and Network Security Management. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Netsweeper will continue to sell and support DeepNines products and expects to integrate key capabilities into its own product lines.
